Wiebold Studio was featured on the PBS program Our Ohio, you can see, firsthand, how your items are worked on.
Family heirlooms, antiques, works of art, collectibles - we recognize the value in each of them. And when a treasured item is broken, damaged or deteriorating, a piece of history is lost.

At Wiebold Studio, we're passionate about saving these items and have been dedicated to restoration and conservation since our
founding in 1945

History of Wiebold Studio

Charles Wiebold unintentionally formed Wiebold Studio in the late 1930's while tinkering around in his Terrace Park, Ohio, basement. An insurance investigator by day, Wiebold spent his evening free time converting common items into decorative lamps, and restoring artistic items around his home.

By 1941, collectors from all over the area were bringing their art objects to Wiebold's basement studio. Charles officially opened Wiebold Studio in 1945 and since then, the family-owned and run business and practice has been passed down through the generations.

We restore and repair the art, antiques and collectibles of individuals, collectors, dealers and institutions. Almost sixty years ago, we began specializing in portrait miniatures and to this day, Wiebold Studio is one of the country's few restoration firms to specialize in this unique art form. We continue to use the care and passion that Charles used in the days of the company's conception on each piece that enters the studio.
. Skilled artists and conservators use time-tested techniques to restore damaged items for you - families, private collectors and notable institutions - every day.

We understand that sentimental value can make any item priceless. That's why we offer advice and consultation in the instance of a
disaster or emergency
